Do you have equipment to use for evaluations?

Julie Taylor has or can obtain equipment from most major Speech Generating Device (SGD) manufacturers as well as Apple mobile devices, software and hardware.

Are you affiliated with any Speech Generating Device vendors?

No – Julie Taylor of VOICE, LLC provides independent evaluation and consultation.  She is not affiliated with any SGD manufacturers or vendors, and she has no conflict of interest when recommending specific equipment.

Do you loan out your equipment?

Under special circumstances, some equipment is loaned out.

How are you funded?

VOICE, LLC services are funded entirely by clinical services provided and Julie Taylor is not an insurance provider.

What are your rates?

Please contact Julie Taylor at julie@voiceaaccenter.com for a fee schedule.  Note that Julie will contact your district or agency fiscal officer directly to provide specific information and if appropriate, she will provide letters of approval to be signed by that individual.

Who provides evaluation, training and consultation services?

Julie Taylor provides all VOICE, LLC services and is a Vermont licensed and ASHA-certified speech and language pathologists trained extensively in Augmentative and Alternative Communication clinical practice.

Where are you located?

VOICE, LLC is a virtual AAC/SLP practice and all services are provided remotely.

How long does it take to schedule an appointment for initial evaluations?

Evaluations are provided in the order in which they are received, and it is common for evaluations to be scheduled at least 6 months in advance.
